Objectives
The main objective of this Course is to promote Japanese language through giving a basic know-
how about Japanese Language and culture, and to develop the interest of Pakistani people in
learning of Japanese Language. Japanese is very interesting language, and its sentence structure is
similar to Urdu.

Recently, Pakistan and Japan have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) for exporting
Pakistani skilled workers to Japan to fulfill their shortage of manpower, so a large number of
students are expected to learn Japanese Language to avail this opportunity which will also help in
resolving unemployment issue of Pakistan.

After completion of this short Course, the learners will be motivated to learn Japanese Language
properly to achieve their target level of Japanese Language Proficiency.

Contents

1. Introduction of Japan and Japanese language and culture.
2. Daily Greetings.
3. Numbers, name of days and months.
4. How to introduce oneself (Self-Introduction)?
5. Name of the things usually around, how to give a gift?
6. How to shop? name of the places, asking prices.
7. Asking/telling times.
8. Timings of work, study, get up and sleep.
9. How to ask to go to a place?
10. How to ask for something?
11. Daily routine.

Note:

1. Duration of course will be 10 weeks.
2. Total 10 lectures of two hours duration will be delivered.
3. Class time will be from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, once a week.
4. Atleast 75% attendance is required to get a certificate
